Stuck in Cusco

here i am on 3 hours of sleep debating what to do. I tried to catch a bus this morning to Puno (next to lake Titicaca) but some local farmers from the villages are protesting by putting rocks in the road. The buses haven’t been able to run the past 3 days. Do i get a room in my hostel or deal with heavy eyes all day and arrive in Puno at 4am….then what?! I could try the bus in the morning too but for some reason i have a feeling the eve bus has a better chance of leaving. Well, it’s good to know that it’s already been 3 days of this so maybe something will be resolved shortly. I think a nap is in order since sleeping on the bus is not an option and the owners of the hostel will be looking at me funny for hanging out in the common area all day. good ol’ protests. I’m off to take a nap, enjoy the posted link of photos!
