Cusco, Peru
Here in the beautiful city of Cusco…aside from the rain everyday it’s an awesome place. Cool markets, tempting shops, great architecture-old euro colonial style with distinguished roof tops that you’re required to use if you live in the city. Got here yesterday after an 8-hour bus ride and 1 hour flight. Jaime and I are headed to the base of Machu Picchu tomorrow and planning on taking the train to the top on Saturday morning. Decided against the trek because it would be in the rain. The next day of full sunshine is forecasted for next Thursday! Guess it’s that time of year here. I’ll post pic’s when I get back from Machu Picchu…I’ll be hanging out here in Cusco for 10 or so days with Spanish classes on the books next week. It’s getting better but the classes should help immensely.
